( withdraw ), set apart מִן־הָרוּחַ Nu 11:1 7; withhold מֵהֶם Ec 2:1 0. Niph. Pf. נֶאֱצַל Ez 42:6 be withdrawn , i.e. shortened or narrowed . Hiph. Impf. וַיָּאצֶל Nu 11:25 ( i 390) = Qal Nu 11:17 .

I . אָצֵל S 682 GK 727, 728 , in pause אָצַל (Ges§ 29. 4 c) n.pr.m. ( perhaps noble, cf.

אָצִיל 2 ) a descendant of Jonathan 1 Ch 8:37 , 38 (×2) = 9:4 3, 44 (×2).

II . [ אָצֵל S 682 GK 727, 728 ], in pause אָצַל Zc 14: 5, according to Ö å Thes Ew al. , n.pr.loc. near Jerusalem; but no site found, & identification with בֵּית־הָאֵצֶל uncertain; hence Symm É Köh WR make subst. , אֶל־אַָ˜צל
