D i.—not clearly located, but on southern border of Judah.

גִּשְׁפָּא S 1658 GK 1778 n.pr.m. named after צִיחָא as an officer of Nethinim Ne 11:21 ; v. om. B ; Ö L & Codd. Γεσφα , name not elsewhere in OT ,

not even || 1 Ch 9; possibly corrupted from חֲשֻׂפָא Ne 7:46 (following צִחָא ; in || Ezr 2:43 חֲשׁוּפָא , צִיחָא ), Ö Ἁσφα ( B ; Codd. Ασειφα , etc.); cf. BeR y.
