[ תַּחְבֻּלָה ] n.f. direction, counsel ( prob. orig. of rope -pulling, i.e. steering, directing a ship, v. חֹבֵל , so Thes ; v. De Pr 1:5 ) ;—only pl. and only WisdLt . תַּחְבֻּלֹות abs. Pr 1:5 + 3 times; cstr. Pr 12: 5; sf. תַּחְבּוּלֹתָ˜ו Jb 37:1 2— direction, guidance (i.e. by God) Jb 37:12 (of thunder cloud); counsels of wicked ( רשׁעים ) Pr 12:5 ( opp. מַחְשְׁבֹות צדיקים ); gen. good, wise counsels Pr 1: 5; 11:14 ( || רֹב יועֵץ ), 24:6 ( || id. ); 20:18 ( || עֵצָה ).
