but the more original forms. Egyptian Aramaic המו CIS 145 B 4 ( Cooke 207 ), 149 A 1 , S-

C Pap. C 7, 10 + ; not T Syriac, which use אִנּוּן , ˜˜˜˜˜˜ , ˜˜˜˜˜˜ (˒enun,

henun ), instead; Arabic ﻩُمُ ( humu ), ﻩُمْ ( hum ). The n in הִמּוֹן , as in דֵּין , אִלֵּין , by

the side of זֶה , אֵלֶּה , أُولَﺁءِ (˒ūla˒ā˒i); NöM 86 W CG 106 ) ;—they, them: a. as nom.

Ezr 5:11 אֲנַחְנָא הִמּוֹ עַבְדוֹהִי we are his servants ( constr. as in Syriac, § 312 D

Mt 5:13 , K § 87. 3). b. as accus. (in Biblical Aramaic, as in Syriac, there being no verbal

sf. of 3 pl. ; so Egyptian Aramaic Cooke 76 B 4, S-C Pap. E 5 + ), Dn 2:34 והדקת הִמּוֹן

and crushed them , v 35 3:22 Ezr 4:1 0, 23 ; 5:5 , 12 , 14 (×2), 15 ; 7:17 .— Comp. אִנּוּן .

הַמְנִיכָא Qr ( Kt המינכָא , also [ Gi ] המוניכא , etc.) n.[m.] chain,

necklace ( Talm הַמְנִכָּא D WB 108 ; Syriac ˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜ (hamniko); loan-word from Gk. µανιάκης K § 64, 4; or < Pers. hämyān , girdle [dimin. would be

hamyānak ] (whence also Gk. µαν ., Bev Dr Dn 5: 7) Andr M 60 (reading הַמְיָנְֽכָא );
