[ כִּבְרָה ] n.f. appar. distance , only in the phr. כִּבְרַת (ה)ארץ a distance of land or length of way , Gn 35:16 וַיְהִי עֹוד כ׳ ה׳ לָבֹוא אֶפְרָתָה , 48:7 בְּעֹוד כ׳ א׳ לָבֹא אֶפְרָתָה , 2 K 5:19 וַיֵּלֶךְ מֵאִתֹּו כ׳ אָרֶץ . The distance meant is uncretain, but from 2 K 5:19 it would seem to have been a short one; v. further Di Gn 3 5, 16 and Thes ( Assyrian kibrâti is a (widely extended) territory, quarter of the world , etc., Dl HWB 315; according to Hoffm GGAbh. . xxxvi (1890), 2325 perhaps the distance that one can see ) .
